Dry & itchy skin

Dry and itchy skin is a very commonly seen issue with dogs, especially the short coated ones. Dry skin can be caused by using bathing products not properly balanced for your dog’s coat, by weather conditions- both extreme cold and heat can cause the skin to dry, by allergies, and of course by a number of skin diseases. Most of those reasons can be easily avoided by creating a proper care routine, while using products best fitting your dog’s coat. Very often skin dryness results in itchy skin which, when excessive, can cause some serious damage to your dog’s health. Regularly bathing your dog with products complimenting their coat type as well as brushing their coat while applying conditioning and moisturising products will greatly decrease the chances of dry and itchy skin in your dog.
